The only thing that WILL prevent you from getting your CDL when you turn 21 is if you are suspended or revoked. (doesn't appear to be your case). HOWEVER; finding employment with a company that will not rape you on a regular basis will be another challenge for the first few years. (If YOUR insurance went up by $100, imagine how much a company that delivers 80,000 pound loads daily will be increased) Go for it... and good luck!
