Will Getting A Speeding Ticket In The State Of Arizona (pima County) Put Points On Your Cdl License?

My step dad was off work and was caught speeding in his own personal vehicle and was going over 60 in a 45 MPH zone. He was sent a ticket in the mail (he got a picture taken of him, his car, and license plates clear as day from the cameras set up in a parked unmarked police vehicle). Will there be points added to his CDL license? Is there a driving class that they offer to not have it go on his CDL? He is a city worker and drives city trucks. Can anyone please offer any info? Thank you.
