Will A Truck Driving Company Hire Me With A Misdemeanor On My Record?
I have a domestic violence on my record (was not with my wife, it was my neice, and its a long *** story…). Its a misdemeanor, and I have been turned down at jobs because of it. Will I be able to be hired by a trucking company with this on my record?

Yeah you will with out any problems. Prolly won’t even have to explain in the interview. There is alot of felons that get on so your record wont have any problems as long as you don’t have any major traffic accidents/tickets or a really bad driving record. Good luck.

You may have an issue with a smaller company, but the larger ones shouldn’t have too much of a problem. I am a driver manager by profession and I know several drivers who have had legal issues in the past. Mostly depends what it was, where, and how long ago, if it’s even an issue at all.

That depends on where you go–different places have different standards.
