I’m not sure the MOS abbreviations for them, but you could look into medical (but medics have a hard time downrange and deal with a lot of PTSD), finance (this is a good one), human resources, like in the S-1 office….. each of those could easily transfer into a great civilian career. Don’t forget about your GI bill for further education!! My hubby was 89B, which is an ammo specialist, and is working on a great government job now that he is out, but we got lucky in that we live near a base where he can contract…. with him, it’s a small niche for his specialty. Oh wait…now that I think about it, look into MP, easily transfers to any kind of law enforcement or correctional officer….state jobs are great…unless you’re from Cali!

Police Officer or Firefighter. Or you can use the GI Bill to go to college for free and be whatever you want.
