What Is A Cdl License? What Does It Take To Get Dangerous Goods Licence?
I am assuming you are in the EU or Australia? In North America the dangerous goods are referred to Hazardous Materials (Haz-Mat or HM for short)
A CDL is a Commercial Driver’s License – needed to transport HM, more than 15 passengers or drive a vehicle with a weight rating above 26,000 pounds.
In order to get a HM endorsement, you will need to submit to a criminal background check, and a Homeland Security threat assessment, take a written test. All 50 states are the same process – federally mandated standards. If you are not in the US, your procedure may differ.

a cdl license is required to drive any commerical vehicle such as a tractor trailer, dump truck, etc. To get any license its best to just visit you local dmv they can give you all the info needed. as for a license to transport dangerous goods, you have to attend a driving school to learn to drive the vehicles. my brother has a cdl and he had to pass a driving school and a road course.

A CDL is a Commercial Drivers License. Depending on the state you leave in they may have different guidelines. Usually you must first take a written test which is then followed by a driving test. As far your Haz-Mat you must take a additional written test then go through a Homeland Security background check. Currently in the state I live this takes about 60 to 90 days. Check with your local DMV or DPS office and they can give you more details.
