i just quit a truck driving job and the employer lost my mvr(motor vehicle record),my job application and some other files.They are getting ready to be audited by DOT and they want me to provide this info to yhem before i receive my last paycheck.Is this legal?
As long as your OUI was more than 1 year ago. Just pay your fees, pass your tests.
You will have trouble finding a reputable employer for a few years, but you can still get your CDL.

Aside from calling the Department of Motor Vehicles in the state of Alabama, you could try googling the state of Alabama’s dmv, often states will list their licensing fees on line, and where and how to file etc.
No, most drive like normal automobiles. you just have a wider turning radius. I learned to drive one in less than a day. CDL is real easy to get, I just had to apply, get my picture took and the DMV gave it to me. Didn’t even have to drive for them.
