okay i failed my first year of highschool…and since then everything has been screwing up badly for me.
im supposed to be a junior, but im still a sophmore.
i have to have 12 credits to pass this year…but i was truent so they took A LOT of credits away and now i only have 6 1/2
i want to go to college and have a better career, but i cant get anything to work out anymore, i get decent grades and i pass all my tests…but i think i might fail this year too.
can i still go to a ‘GOOD’ college with a GED?
can i have a good career doing something thats not driving a semi truck, washing dishes, being a mechanic, or a male nurse?
i need help.

I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on what I could do for a new career. My husband lost his job again and I want to take over with making the money, so I do not have to worry so much. Right now I work in the medical field and do not like it at all. The only career that I can think of doing would be over the solo road truck driver. Thanks for your help.

Currently i am doing Computer Science, its my final year. After a month i have my board exams. I am trying studies, and to a extent i have been successfully forcing myself for it. But when the question of career comes to my mind, i dont find myself into a desk job, working on computers. I need something more exiting and rocking. But i am unable to find out anything as such. Whenever i think of it, i get more away from my current studies. I find it stupid, as i am studying something that i dont want to do. Is there anything exiting that i can base my career on? My interests are acting, writing, direction, travelling, adventure, even driving a lorry or truck (long routes). But thats not something i can take as career. I need something promising, concrete, dont want to take any risk for career. Something where i can earn lot. Money matters to me. Dont give me solutions like study rite nw 4 ur boards, think later n all…i need some concrete n promising suggestion. What should i do?

i am looking to spend under $210.00 for a gps. I need it to be able to have new maps down loadable. in case I get a job driving straight trucks I need to down load the truck routes.
I want to buy it off ebay so I can use the buyer credit.
I want the best for the money of course.

In 2007 I graduated from one the truck driving schools in my home town.
And then i went to work for one the companies the school sets you up with. American eagle. Its was ok, I finish the training program, but did want to work for the company. So I went to Werner Ent. I worked for them for 6months, in those 6 months i had 2 incidents 1 was I did’nt turn out far enough and my back trailor tires ran over a patch of grass on the side to the drive through leaving 2 tire marks on the ground.
#2 I had to back into a warehouse where the dock is inside. well I did that part fine. But when i was pulling out the left trailor door got caught behind the framing of the warehouse door and ripped the three hinges off the trailorl No cars and No trucks were involved with either of these incidents. And with both jobs they have let me go plus all of this is on my dak report. Now when i try to fine a job driving a truck, they won’t take me because of the things that are on my dak.
I need a job bad, and what is the point of having this dam cdl if nobody will hire me. Guys any help will be greatful. thanks so much.

Hi! okay, so I’m involved in a program that’s trying to get high school students to go to college (like me) and I’m looking at trades where it would be good to have a college degree. One of my assignments was to interview a truck driver, but I cannot, for the life of me, get one to talk to me when I call up different companies. My deadline is TODAY. Is someone HERE a truck driver who wouldn’t mind answering a few questions I’m going to post?

Odd Question Regarding Truck Driving Please Read Important Really Important?

in a very strange way i was charged with dangerous driving and leaving the scence of an accident . all off road and not in a truck. anyway i could not get a lawyer . the charges or evidence was so stupid the judge did this thing were i now have my licence even though my record says dangerous driving. odd. here is the thing in 1.5 years this matter all details of it everthing ever written about it anywhere will be sealed locked away from all eyes. permentally . thats great . however the dick that had me charged with dangerous driving is my former boss. note i did nothing he did it. but in one and a half years i will not be able to use him as a reference or even as something to list as a place of work . i will then be able to show only 9 months of driving not the 1year and 10 months of trouble free driving . again every note is sealed no cop no insurance no judge may ever see my record in 1.5 years. do you think i will ever end up with another driving job . tractor trailer long haul to usa is what i did . but i would certainly drive tractor trailer around canada if someone offered. what do you think of my chances please someone needs to tell me the people i know are not drivers so they really no nothing . i am really needing a driver to tell me what you think. please. thanks.

I first considered accounting. But a friend told me that at 46 with a background in trucking, I might be a bit too old to embark on an accounting career, since it is usually a corporate job. I am looking for a highly marketable career,
yet one in which my age and background won’t be a detriment.
