I am looking for CDL-A driving jobs around Englewood, Florida. Specifically, some of the “big” names (ie. Budweiser, etc.) to see if they’re hiring. “Bud’s” site didn’t show a “career” link. Do you know of any trucking companies there? How do you find out about careers?

Is there a Company out Here in florida that would Help me get my CDL licence and possibly hire me thereafter. i dont have the money for a CDL licence and would like to know if theres a company that would train me and then do payroll deduction.
If I get one in NY can I use it if I move to Florida?
I have 13 years experience with local haul/hostling moderate duty. Some OTR experience, but I hate it. I have hauled dry bulk cement, fuel, misc. freight(Costco, Walmart, Home Depot etc.) flat beds, connex, cargo vans, reefers, step decks etc. I want to be home every night.

I would like to get my cdl license without going to one of the expensive trucking schools. I am 55 yrs old and drove a firetruck for 27 years … I needed no CDL license for that because I was trained “inhouse” and had an exemption ..
