i just quit a truck driving job and the employer lost my mvr(motor vehicle record),my job application and some other files.They are getting ready to be audited by DOT and they want me to provide this info to yhem before i receive my last paycheck.Is this legal?
The DOT (US Department of Transportation) requires a 10-year background check, along with a drug screen and random drug tests for anyone involved in interstate transportation. If your drivers license was revoked for cause, your new employer will know about it.
