Im Joining The Army As A Light Wheel Mechanic. Will I Get My Cdl License If I Learn To Drive And Fix Trucks.?

I was told if I go to Iraq as a 63b (light wheel mechanic) in the Army, I would be working on all vehicals. So Im curious to know if i will get a CDL license if i drive and work on trucks.
