my husband wants me to team up with him and we are looking for a good company to work for that will also help us out with my schooling. He also has a preference for the western states. Can anyone help guide us? we checked into England

Companies, like Werner, Schneider and JB Hunt, have great training programs and should all be considered since you tend to always see their rigs on the road. If you get a book(CDL) you can begin studying and knocking out all the required tests at the local DMV. Also, contact Knight, because they may offer to train, you and the husband could be a team. just go take the written part of the test to get your cdl permit. once you have that hubby can teach you what you need to know to pass the driving portion of the test. lots of companies hire teams everyday so once you both have a cdl just call around for the best deal as a team.

I just read that a lot of trucking companies are going out of business due to the increase of gas prices ($1,100 to fil a big rig with deisel), so it may be a little harder for him to find a job.

Schneider is a great trucking company where u go on 2 week training trip to phialdelhia pennsylvaania, great benefits n stuff
