Is It Wrong To Measure Womens Performance By Judging Them Against ‘mens Way Of Doing Things’?
in SWEDEN, i read in a article, women are successful in varied professions from policing to truck driving. and one reason they do so well is that they are not told to do things like men (like they are told in USA), they are encouraged to be themselves.
my question is what does the article mean by
“MENS WAY OF DOING THINGS”
“WOMEN ARE NOT TOLD TO BE LIKE MEN”
“THEY ARE TOLD TO BE THEMSELVES”
in a profession/career (police, military, finance, banking, engineering etc) what is a mans way of doing things and a womans way of doing things?
isnt there supposed to be a single best way of doing things regardless of gender?
please explain what does this mean
