Is An American Cdl License Recognised In Europe? Hypothetically, Could I Haul Semi Loads In Europe?
I would not be surprised if I had to take a simple test (European road regulations and such) but I would not have to retake all semi load training over again right?

For a short visit (probably up to about a month) you should be ok to drive on your US licence. But if you what to stay here permanently you would have to take a test which is different for each country although you would be able to drive in all EU member states.
As for profitability you can make some good money but be careful where you buy your fuel – UK is very expensive compared to most continental countries.
Don’t forget to brush up on LGV laws particularly permitted driving hours and compulsory rest periods.

No, your US licence only covers you for cars & light vans in the UK & Europe – see here;http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Diol1/Motoriā¦
If you’re thinking of doing this as an owner – driver, remember the price of fuel in Europe is probably twice that in the US & road taxes & tolls are very high for LGVs.
