I Want To Make A Cdl License And The Officer Told Him That He Can’t Take A Cdl License More Than 1 Year?

my question is my husband want to make a cdl lisence and the officer told him that he can’t take a cdl license more than 1 year only because of his expiration date on his his EAD ? so he have to get a lisence for more than 2 years what shall we do?
CAN WE RENEW THE EAD CARD before it’s expiration date and if
yes , so by how many days can we do that ? and how does it take to renew it ? AND HOW MANY DAYS DOES IT TAKE TO RENEW THE DRIVING LISENCE?
