I Just Drove A 22ft Penske W/ Reg Drivers License If I Did It As A Job Wuld I B Required To Get A Cdl?

I Just drove a 22Ft auto shift penske diesel truck to move, and it only required a standard license…if I wanted to drive one similar to it for work, would it require me to get a CDL license for it? I dont believe it has air brakes but when I push on the brake pedal enough you can hear a little air hissing so I’m not sure…, any ideas would be great! Thanks a bunch Have a nice day/night all
