How Can I Keep From Going Back To Truck Driving School?

I am desperately needing to go back on the road. I haven’t logged any legal miles since February of 2003. Every place I have called about a job wants me to go back to truck driving school. I have been to truck driving school twice already only because I waited too long to get back behind the wheel the second time. I have driven since 2003, but not as a hired driver I was helping out a tired driver. My question is who is hiring drivers in my position? I need a company that is self insured or a small operating authority. I have had winter driving skills on the skid pad twice. Please help! I really don’t want to suffer through school a third time. I need a road test and a job! Any and all replies would be helpful. I live in SW, MO. Thanks soo much.
