Help!!! I Was Involved In An Auto Accident While Driving The Bosses Truck.?

A co worker was sent to the job site where I was working at to relieve me so that I could go take my daughter to the airport. The boss knew what time I had to leave by but waited till the last minute to send someone. The truck that my coworker drove to the job site was dropped off to me so that I could leave the site. I was hoping to have time to pick up my car from work but there wasn’t enough time so what I planned to do was drive the work truck to my house then leave it there while I drove my car and took my daughter to the airport. I’ve taken the truck home before and it has never been a problem. While driving home to pick up my other car I noticed that the breaks were acting up. The truck would pull really hard to the left when I used my breaks. So I made it a point to drive extra careful. However 1/2 way home when traffic came to a stop I tried to stop but the truck wouldnt stop. So I switched lanes so that I would have a longer distance to come to a stop but the peddle just fell
