Getting My Cdl License And My Medical Issues.?
Well I want to run a buisiness with my dad running trucks in south florida. I was wondering since i had a liver transplant in ‘04 and i am heavily medicated for my immune system soo it won’t reject my new liver and it caused me too have diabetes.. but it has not effected my physically i work out have a good lifestyle and stay on top of my health. i’m not fat i even have a 6 pack. that was just an example too show my physical peek. Still will that influence them not too alot me to get my cdl license?

These are the disqualifying medical conditions. If you are insulin dependant, you will not qualify.

with diabetes , you will need to get a physical yearly . With the other thinggs I just don’t know . Why not get a DOT physical before you go any farther with this … Make sure your doctor will back you up if they have any questions .
I’m on a drug that is in the book , as a drug that would disqualify me from a CDL … My doctor backed me on it and I’ve never had a problem .

are you insulin dependant? if so, no cdl on that issue alone.
