Does anyone know a way I can get a loan to go to a truck driving school to get my CDL license?

I have found lots of school for trucking where u have to pay out ur pocket instead of getting financial aid.I was wondering is there any other way to pay for it.

    Many of the larger trucking companies will put you through school. Usually they require you to agree to work for them for a period of time after you are licensed, or to pay them back the cost of your training!

    You could try to find a company that offers tuition free training, in exchange for you agreeing to work for them for a specified period of time afterword. The one I went through over twenty years ago was Midwest Coast, their web site is http://www.midwest-coast.com

    got my training through Burlington Industries (no longer in business, UNfortunately). I got paid by the hour all through training, a little over $13 an hour. I would bet there’s some other company out there somewhere that does something similar. If nothing else, like some others said, go to one of these large carriers like Schneider or JB Hunt. I don’t know if they still do, but they used to train their own drivers. That’s better than paying a bunch of money out of pocket, financed or not.
