Can I Get Insurance On A Truck I Drive But Don’t Own?

I drive my boyfriend’s truck and we’ve had a lapse in coverage with job loss. My driving record is cleaner and I get a discount through where I work. Can I get the truck insured in my name and add him to the policy if I don’t own the truck?

Some companies will do this, some will not. Just ask.

Check with your insurance company. They may cover you, regardless of the car you’re driving. The Auto Club does that. Even if it’s a rental, I don’t have to worry about getting that extra coverage, because my policy covers me regardless of the vehicle I drive (except for certain sized trucks – and I mean a big truck).

I would think that you could. As long as you have insurance on the vehicle, than you should be good. But you will want to check from the insurance company for sure. I suggest going to http://www.thehelpster.com/Best-Car-Insurance/Angie828 to see if this can help you get a good deal.

When it comes time for renewal car insurance is a quite simple way to save a ton of money. You can get a easy quote online they often give you competing prices.

autoinsurance.noneto.com – try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.
