Over the road you have to be 21. There are lots of local jobs mostly like dump truck or local haul but over the road isnt gonna happen for awhile. If you know someone that has a truck you may be able to get some experience driving with them, if there insurance will cover you. (pick-up, destination, and origin). Just because you drive within the state, does not mean it is necessarily an intra-state load. (Intermodal container for example, could be picked up in philadelphia, driven to pittsburg, but because it originated in NYC at the port, it is an intersate load, meaning he needs to be 21) BE CAREFUL!
