Am I Too Short To Be A Truck Driver?
I’ve been looking into a career change to become a truck driver. However, I’m 5′3″ and am concerned I’m too short. Some of the companies I’ve looked into have adjustable seats, but am I too short?

No – you’re definately not too short. I happen to live in a trucking town… and seem to meet more truckers than I do anyone else. Several of them around here are only that height… in fact I know one from around here who would be shorter than 5′3″, and is considered to be good at what he does.

you’re not too short. there are adjustable seats and steering wheels. consider a truck that is automatic if possible that’ll be easier for you.

there are women less than 5 ft that drive,besides as all good truckers know its not the size of the driver its the size of the “RADIO” that matters ! when you are swinging 1000 watts through a polishied “MONKEY MADE ” antenna at THE WEST MEMPHIS McDONALD’S ,I don’t care if you are MINI ME,YOU WILL BE 10ft tall!!
